Pramod currently works with Alberta Public Service. In the past, he has represented several plant breeders’ rights applications for his clients based in Canada and facilitated DUS testing of variety of plant species. He has obtained formal education in Agriculture, Plant Sciences and Plant Breeding from India and Canada including technical and business trainings from McGill University, WTO, Codex Alimentarius Commission, WIPO and UPOV Academies in addition to one year entrepreneur development program in Alberta.
Pramod enjoys music, writing poetry and producing short films. He is an active volunteer with Alberta Classroom Agriculture Program and have motivated number of grade 4 students to explore Agriculture as a career. He has also served as volunteer director and executive on several not-for-profit organizations.
